The buzz was in the air for one of Hollywood’s most anticipated nights, The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The Beverly Hilton was overflowing with Television and Film’s hottest stars, gathered to unveil the big winners of the night. Stylish stars walked the red carpet adorned in the chic designs of some of fashion’s most talented designers.  When the awards ended, the night was hardly over as celebrities dispersed to the afterparties. One such star, Emma Stone, was snapped wearing a gorgeous navy chiffon tiered Cynthia Steffe dress, which landed her right on the “Best Dressed” list.

Innovative design, eye-catching detail, and lots of color are just a few of the hot shoe trends for Spring 2009. No one brought these looks to life though quite like Nine West with their 30th Anniversary Collection. Nine West took shoe design to a whole new level with ingenious cut-out booties and a mash-up between a sandal and a suede ankle boot. Crocodile stacked heels, jelly thong sandals, and a number of wedges were just a few of the trendy designs that got splashed with a candy-colored coating. Gladiator sandals were also still one of Nine West’s strong points with styles ranging from a studded neutral heel to metallic flats encrusted in gems.

Nine West also decided to release a line of sneakers for Spring 2009 in collaboration with New Balance. These colorful creations are equipped with insole technology, yet trendy and lightweight enough for running around the city.
