On May 9th, in New York City, New York Girl Style hosted the Lipstick Jungle Designer Sale at the Dream hotel. The event lasted from 6 to 9 and was an amazing success. It was a night of Imperia vodka cocktails and shopping the best designer lines, which includes top fashion designers, Walter Baker, Linda Richards , Robin Jordan, Gender Bias, and more. Leading designer Walter Baker himself made an appearance and Justina McCaffrey, international fashion designer, was there to mingle and shop the inspiring designers.  Fun, flirty, and fabulous guests enjoyed Bed Head styling products to look gorgeous every season!

Vanessa Scheffler, spokesmodel, looked gorgeous in a Walter Baker sequined black dress and she awarded two autographed Lipstick Jungle books to two lucky guests!

Christian Cota’s, a contemporary American designer, jacket was recently featured on CW Television’s hit and trendy show, Gossip Girls.  Blake Lively, or “Serena” wore his taupe cocoon jacket that was featured in the designers premiere Spring 2008 Collection.

Cota is called one of the “Ten Newcomers to Watch” for 2008 by Style.com based on his Spring collection.  His interestingly shaped and coloredpieces are innovative and combine a New York spirit with sophistication.  Be sure to keep an eye out for this hot up-and-coming designer!
