New York Girl Style celebrates the coming of spring and the amazing style that comes along with it by a night of celebrity styling tips and spotlighted designer, Roberto Cavalli. Some fashion elite were there, like top model, Vanessa Scheffler, the sites celebrity fashion stylist, Derek Warburton, celebrity makeup artist, George Sandev, and celebrity hairstylist, Anthony Campbell. Our styling experts provided the hottest looks for 2008. The magical night took place at Nikki Midtown, in New York City, on March 27th.

Italian designer Roberto Cavalli was featured as a designer spotlight, along with his modern and luxurious clothing line. Inspiration for the spring was in the air with the beautiful pastel colors and gorgeous draping of Roberto Cavalli.

On March 14th, at the W-Hotel on Lexington, in New York City, New York Girl Style held its VIP Designer Sale Passport event! It featured British Airways and their Terminal 5 International Shopping. Shoppers were able to shop and sip cocktails as they watched a preview of the Shopping Terminal on a large video drop screen. New York Girl Style was helping to promote the worldwide connection of New York designers and London designers that are in the Terminal 5 retail stores. The exclusive shopping included high-end designers like Walter Bakers, who sells in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus. Robin Jordan also showed off her merchandise, which is sold in Lord and Taylor and Bloomingdales. The luxury designs of Linda Richards, the gorgeous pieces of Gender Bias, and the vibrant colors and satin dresses of Pamela Ferrari were shopped and sold along with exclusive discounts.

At the Hearst Tower in NYC on February 19th, 2008, Giorgio Damiani presented his new equisite 2008 Jewelry and Timepiece collection. The jewelry designers event was held by Town & Country Magazine. The luxury jewelry pieces made in Italy were the stars of the evening. The evening was filled with the fashion industry elite who came to applaud Giorgio Damiani on his creative design of luxury and glamour. New York Girl Style fashion reporter, Alyson Campbell, always on the scene to see what creative designers are tossing into the fashion world, was dressed in a gorgeous Walter baker dress.

Damiani was introduced by Editor-in-Chief, Pamela Fiori, for a rare personal appearance. Following his introduction, a piece from the new collection was raffled off, all benefits going to UNICEF. Completing the evening of celebration and high spirits were spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline that could only be seen from the 44th floor of the Tower. The spectacular jewelry and timepieces were the highlight of the night!
