New York Girl Style launched it’s NY Fashion Week Fall 2008 event on January 24th. The event was held at Nikki Beach and the festivities started at 7 P.M. The main attraction, giving the event some Fashion Week spirit was a fashion show, which started at 9 PM. It highlighed Gucci, Aidan Mattox’s Collection 2008, Carlos Miele, and Robin Jordan. It starred Rebecca Holiday from Project Runway, and Vanessa Scheffler.

The recent Louis Vuitton Cocktail Reception, celebrating the Richard Prince Exhibition, in New York City. It showcased the handbags Prince created in collaboration with Marc Jacobs. The event was held at the Guggenheim and one of the main attractions for the fashion lovers there was being able to pre-order these bags. On January 27th, select Louis Vuitton stores across America are planning to showcase these bags. The event even featured models dresses as nurses carrying the bags Prince has deigned.

Leven Rambin attended and sparkled in a Cynthia Steffe dress and a bold Lizzie Fortunato necklace. She completed the look with Prada heels. Nina Garcia, editor of Elle, also attended. Denise Rich also attended and wanted to score one of the limited bags for herself!
